Young swimmers from across the Ovens & Murray District have the opportunity to represent their district at the Victorian Country Junior District Competition, to be held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) on Saturday 21 November 2026.
The competition brings together talented junior swimmers from districts across regional Victoria, giving athletes aged 8–11 years the chance to compete at one of Victoria’s premier swimming venues while representing the Ovens & Murray District Swimming Association (OMDSA).
Swimmer Nominations
Swimmers from all the O&M district Clubs wishing to be considered for selection are asked to complete the Rep Team Selection Form, including their Personal Best times for each stroke.
Nominations close Monday 12 October 2026.
Completed forms must be returned to the District Selector by the closing date. Following the selection process, successful swimmers will be contacted directly by OMDSA with further information about the competition and team arrangements.
Team Coach & Team Manager
OMDSA is also seeking Expressions of Interest for a Team Coach and Team Manager to support the district team for the afternoon.
Anyone interested in taking on either of these important roles is encouraged to apply. Expressions of Interest close Wednesday 30 September 2026 and should be submitted to the District Selector.
